Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Boncks ("we", "us", "our"), a software-as-a-service product that provides mobile time tracking, GPS-stamped clock in/out, overtime calculations, and payroll-ready exports for small field service teams. By creating an account, signing in, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Free Trial & Subscription

New companies receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial ends, continued use of the service requires an active paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly at $9.99 USD per company (unlimited employees) through PayPal. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; your account remains active until the end of the current billing period.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. The company admin is responsible for the employees they invite, including ensuring those employees consent to GPS location capture during clock in/out events.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the service; (b) use the service to violate any law, including wage-and-hour or privacy laws; (c) upload malicious content or attempt to disrupt service availability; (d) resell access to the service without our written consent; (e) tamper with, spoof, or falsify GPS coordinates or location data reported by the service.

5. Data & Privacy

Your handling of personal data — including employee names, contact details, GPS coordinates, live location tracking while clocked in, push notification tokens, and time entries — is described in our Privacy Policy. You are the data controller of the data your employees generate; we act as the processor on your behalf.

6. Payments

Subscription payments are processed by PayPal. We do not store your payment card details on our systems. Failed payments may result in your account being suspended or downgraded. Refunds are issued at our discretion for unused portions of a billing period.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (e.g. database providers, PayPal, mapping providers), or force majeure events may cause temporary unavailability. Push notification delivery depends on device operating system and network conditions and is provided on a best-effort basis.

8. Push Notifications

Boncks may send push notifications to employees for new work order assignments and team membership changes. Notifications require explicit opt-in via the browser or device permission prompt. You can opt out at any time from your device settings; opting out does not affect core time-tracking, clock in/out, or work order functionality.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or fail to pay. Upon termination, you may export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not responsible for payroll calculation accuracy — you are responsible for verifying time entries and exports before using them for payroll.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
